The 20th anniversary Milwaukee Irish Fest in 2000 included the introduction of the Night of the Bodhrans where artists and guests marched from both ends of the grounds to the Scattering on Sunday night. The Delaney’s held their clan reunion.
Cultural offerings included From Poetry to Policy, American Presidents of Irish Descent, photography from Nutan, and Fiona Fitzsimons from Ireland will helped trace fest goers' roots in the Genealogy tent. Paul Brock and Neil Corning give lectures on the great Irish tenor, John McCormack.
Entertainers included Tommy Makem, Lunasa, Danu, Off Kilter, Cherish the Ladies, Great Big Sea, The Irish Rovers, The Prodigals, Maire Ni Chathasaigh and Chris Newman, The Elders, The Bumblebees, Liz Carroll, La Bottine Souriante, Different Drums of Ireland, The Saw Doctors, and the Clancy Family Reunion. Dancers included Cashel-Dennehy Irish Dancers, Trinity Irish Dancers, Caledonian Scottish Dancers, Mullane Irish Dancers, and Gillan School of Highland Dance.
